I’m a happy homemaker who just moved to Denver, CO only to discover that many of my best baking recipes now refuse to cooperate. Irritated at the lack of high altitude baking recipes available online (me, irritated? surely not…), I decided to create this blog. My goal is to make it a reliable source for other bakers struggling with this thin air, providing a variety of recipes which have all been tested/adjusted for the altitude (well, 5,280 ft. at least…those folks floating around up at 10,000 ft. may still kinda be screwed). So I’ll beat my recipes into submission, hopefully get them to behave at this altitude, then share them with you.

Hi, Melissa! Thanks for stopping by my site. We’re all linked up… Can’t wait to read about your high-altitude baking adventures!
Thanks, Jenny. Love your site!
Hello! I love your site! I think it’s good that you have recipes for high altitude because you never know, you could find yourself at a high altitude and want to cook. In general your recipes are very yummy looking, and sweet, which is major plus for me. I look forward to reading more from you! I’m going to add you to my blogroll!
Thank you! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the recipes. I’m certainly having a great time! I love your site too–adding that to my blogroll.
Hi Melissa, another CO blogger. Glad to have found you. I love to bake, too. And yes, it is a little tricky with the altitude. I am at 6500 feet. I will be back to visit.
Kirsten
